SYDNEY (XFN-ASIA) - The US dollar was lower against the yen and euro in mid-afternoon here amidst lackluster trade as a holiday in Japan reduced volumes and with little key economic data due for release tonight, dealers said.
SAO PAULO -(Dow Jones)- The Brazilian Central Bank on Tuesday sold the equivalent of $452.1 million in so-called reverse swap contracts. The bank sold all auctioned contracts, which came with three maturities ranging from May 2008 to April 2009.
